Walk the whole floor in one pass
Start at the front door and keep going through every room. Done ends the walk.

Walk slowly
Point at the walls, and at the edges where the floor and ceiling meet. The scan fills in as you go.

Open the doors
Pause in each doorway with the lights on. That is how one room joins the next.

Name the rooms
The plan labels rooms as it recognises them. Rename any of them. The names stay on the phone.
The 3D home
The scan becomes a dollhouse.
Tap Build 3D model. The walls, doors and windows from the scan become a model you can turn in your hand, furnished in the style you pick, with the wall and floor colours taken from the photos you took on the walk.
